Meet Linda
Linda Sanchez is an award-winning green real estate developer, managing broker, and sustainability advocate specializing in sustainable residential and commercial real estate, redevelopment, and high-performance building practices. As the founder and CEO of Green Chicago Real Estate LLC, Linda has spent three decades helping clients navigate real estate, development, and investment opportunities through the lens of long-term value, energy efficiency, and community impact.
Widely recognized as a leader in sustainable development, Linda was among the first women and the first Latina in Chicago to develop a green-designated single-family home. Her work has included rehabilitation, retrofit, and new construction projects focused on healthier buildings, operational efficiency, and attainable housing solutions. She is particularly passionate about mixed-market affordable housing and future-focused development that supports both economic and environmental sustainability.
Linda currently serves as a Managing Broker in Illinois and is licensed in Florida. She is a founding member and former chair through 2025 of the Climate Action Museum, former Chair of the Chicago Association of Realtors Sustainability Working Group, and a contributor to the City of Chicago Building Decarbonization Working Group.
